This piece of work is a biography of Frédéric Houde. As a member of parliament, he represented the Maskinongé constituency in the Canada Parliament. Both as a journalist and as a member of parliament he made himself known as a passionate supporter of the rights and interests of his French-Canadian compatriots... Man of many battles, he showed remarkable energy despite a fragile health. Illness got the best of him when he was only 37."
