Its history The association Les Descendants of Louis Houde and Madeleine Boucher (1655) inc. - or DLHMB (1655) inc. - was formed on April 25, 1992 and incorporated on May 8 in Québec
Members distribution The association has more than 350 active members distributed throughout the world. Of course the majority of members are in the province of Québec, but many of them are also found in the rest of Canada, in the United States and in different overseas countries.
Its members Any person descending of Louis Houde and Madeleine Boucher, in direct line or by alliance, or any person interested in the promotion of the Association's objectives can become a member.
Its objectives
Regroup persons linked to Louis Houde and Madeleine Boucher's descendants and those interested in this family. Organize or hold conferences, reunions, meetings and expositions for the promotion, development and vulgarization of the history, genealogy, or any other matters pertaining to the descendants of Louis Houde and Madeleine Boucher. Create a bank of archives Louis Houde where any person, member or other, would be encouraged to deposit documents, photos and newspaper clippings likely to add to the information related to this family's history. Print, edit and distribute any publication aimed at the above-mentioned objectives and build a library pertaining to the family history.

Annual Membership Fee The fees for a given year are determined by the members at the Annual General Meeting. The amount is for the current year and is payable on April 1st each year.
